North Georgia Elite Decks were able to help me out with fast and friendly service. The communication was great throughout the process and everyone I dealt with was courteous and quick to respond. We still love our deck and the workmanship ! 18 months later we contacted you to have our deck restained and we went with your painters. We are so disappointed with the painters and I have hesitated posting this but after paying over $5000 we are not happy. The pressure cleaning was a joke . Just small pancake washer and just rinsed off the deck. The two painters never taped off our Florida screens like we were told they would do. The bottom screens were suppose to be numbered where they took them off and that was not done and they were thrown all over , not stacked therefore there is paint splatter on them . The metal rods we had put on the deck instead of wood ones have paint splattered all over them . I have been trying to remove the paint for the past two months . I paid to have two boards replaced and they had to do it twice and sand them and I doubt they sanded them cause they are very rough that you can not put your hands on them . Sorry for this review for you painters .

Do I need a permit to build a deck in Georgia?
Yes. Nearly all attached decks and any deck over 30" off grade require a building permit in Georgia. Requirements vary by county (Pickens, Cherokee, Forsyth, Fulton). We pull permits and coordinate inspections on every qualifying project.
How long does it take to build a custom deck?
Most single-level decks take 1–2 weeks of build time once permits are approved. Multi-level, elevated, or screened-porch projects typically run 2–4 weeks. You’ll get a written schedule before we start, and our reviews say we keep it.

Their customer service was outstanding! Not only did they complete the job in a timely manner, but the project manager Jordan came over on two occassions after the job was completed to lay down straw on top of loose dirt, and also to pressure wash the clay stains off the stairs. We had North Georgia Elite Decks work on our deck in Mineral Bluff, Georgia, and the whole process turned out great. What started as deck board and handrail replacement turned into finding some rotten framing underneath, and David’s team kept us updated the whole way instead of just covering it up. They replaced the damaged framing, stained the deck and handrails, and installed new hogwire railing that completely opened up our view. We’ve already spent several evenings out there enjoying it, and we appreciated how easy they made everything from communication to cleanup. Highly recommend!
